Mimio Health: Product Renders
Deep dive and explanation of the over 100 renders I did (including revisions) for Mimio Health.
The goal was updated product renderings to use in place of / in addition to product photos they already had and to utilize 3D to push some more experimental ideas with faster ideation + iteration due to the nature of working in 3D.

Highlights at the top of the project for those who don't feel like going down the rabbit hole.
Personal Picks -
Below are all concepts batched by delivery round. In total, there were 6 rounds with revisions and notes within each.
First Round of Deliverables:
First ideation, getting a number of ideas submitted to get notes on color / packaging / layout preferences.
Second Round of Deliverables:
Client's biggest note was about the pouch - needed to make it match the recycled paper better so I completely redid the model + changed the texture to be more "rough". Also modeled the "travel tin" for this round and did renders for all 3, and then individual packaging renders as well.
All 3:
Canister Specific A/B renders:
Pouch Specific:
Travel Tin First Look:
Third Round of Deliverables:
This round was mostly revisions. Up until now, I didn't have dimensions for the products and was going off of look / comparison to each other. You can see the first attempt at fixing the scale in the first two images of the canister since that render was supposed to be a direct replacement for a photo and it wasn't matching when dragging it over.
Fourth Round of Deliverables:
This round saw the correction of the packaging dimensions to be accurate, as well as a step into some more creative concepts including the mirror box (my personal favorite but not a great fit for the brand)
Fifth + Sixth Round of Deliverables:
Final rounds for this project. These are grouped together since the goal was pretty much the same between both. Focus was on recreating some specific product photos that were being used. Personal favorites are the first 3. Interesting part of this round was rendering the pouch pouring into the canister and then compositing the render over a photo that they were using.
Infinity Mirror Concepts:
These are much more abstract and rough. Unused concepts made after being asked about the concept of an infinity mirror. Had difficulty finding a good framing that showed the concept, and ended up scrapping the idea in the end. Renders in order of ideation process going from simplest to busiest.
